An albergo diffuso in the old town of Manduria
You don't stay next to the town. You stay inside it.
An albergo diffuso is an Italian way of staying: the rooms are spread across several restored houses inside a real old town, and the town around them becomes the living room. This is how 15Dolcevita begins in Manduria, Salento, Puglia.
It starts with one house
The first is Via Verdi 15, the old stables of a noble palazzo, which we are restoring. Inside there will be three suites. The largest, the Wellness Suite, has a tufo hamam and red light therapy. All members share the Gymnásion, the garden, the gym and the rooftop, with an infrared sauna, an outdoor ice bucket and a solarium. More houses will follow, one at a time. We are not in a hurry: we want every house done well.
A town that lives all year
Manduria has 29,528 residents (ISTAT, 1 January 2026) and lives from wine, olives and greenhouses. Its streets are lived in, in November as in August. In October 2026 the Regione Puglia confirmed it as a città d'arte.
Everything on foot
From Piazza Garibaldi, the heart of the old town, the Chiesa Matrice is four minutes away, the old Jewish quarter three, Palazzo Imperiali-Filotico two. The Messapian walls and the Fonte Pliniano are nineteen minutes on foot. Manduria's own sea is about twelve kilometres away.
Who stays
The people who stay with us are members: they know the neighbours, share the same table, and come back. Our office is in Piazza Garibaldi 15.
